MANILA, Philippines — A detached wall section from the Tramo flyover in Pasay City partially blocked one lane on Friday evening, prompting the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority to coordinate with the Department of Public Works and Highways for immediate assessment and response. The MMDA said the road hazard was reported at around 7:16 p.m. along the southbound portion of the Tramo flyover beside Winston Hotel. One lane remained occupied as authorities secured the area with safety lines and plastic barriers to prevent accidents. The MMDA said its Road Safety Unit installed additional reflectorized markings and early warning devices at around 8:54 p.m. to improve visibility for motorists passing through the affected area. The agency said it coordinated with the DPWH for further inspection and response operations following the incident.
