Hospitality industry offers 9-week bartender training course as Bruges struggles with 260 vacancies

The hospitality sector in tourism hotspot Bruges continues to struggle to find enough sufficiently trained staff. There are currently 264 vacancies for hospitality staff in the West Flemish capital. That is why, in collaboration with the Flemish employment agency VDAB, the hospitality industry training agency Horeca Forma is organising a special training programme to help candidates become bartenders. Nine trainees recently took part in the training programme in Bruges and the nearby seaside resort of Ostend.
