Authorities uproot 800 marijuana plants in Bukidnon town

SAN FERNANDO, Bukidnon — Government authorities uprooted 800 fully grown marijuana plants during an anti-illegal drugs operation in the remote and mountainous area of Sitio Salumayag, Barangay Halapitan, San Fernando, Bukidnon, on Monday. According to Police Captain Sheila Joy Jangad, Bukidnon Provincial Police Office spokesperson, the operation was conducted jointly by the 2nd Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10, 1003rd Maneuver Company, and the 89th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army.
