Claudia Barretto has filed a petition to remove her father Dennis Padilla’s surname from her name and use only her mother Marjorie Barretto’s family name. Padilla expressed sadness over his daughter’s decision in a series of Instagram posts on Monday, June 8, where he shared a copy of a legal document showing “Claudia Isabelle Barretto Baldivia” as the petitioner seeking the removal of the surname “Baldivia,” which is Dennis’ real surname.
