General Santos City – A day after the powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake that brought down many structures here, the city is still reeling from the destruction. Most of the businesses in the downtown area were still closed at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Many businesses along the main Pioneer Avenue, Santiago Boulevard, and Catolico were seen closed, when previously most businesses would have already opened.
