On his Instagram Stories, JC uploaded a selfie from his hospital bed, flashing a smile despite the situation. I'm okay, and thankfully it wasn't anything too serious,” JC shared. Recalling the moments leading up to his hospitalization, the actor explained that the scare began when he woke up feeling severely dizzy. He noted that he underwent multiple diagnostic tests and continuous monitoring as medical staff worked to determine the cause of the episode. “One day I woke up feeling dizzy, and before I knew it, I was in the emergency room with wires attached to my chest, listening to machines beep around me, going through MRIs, blood tests, running to stress echo, under close monitoring in a Neuro ICU to figure out what was going on,” he said. Despite the alarming situation, JC maintained a positive outlook, viewing the health scare as a wake-up call to prioritize his well-being. “Maybe this was life's way—or a divine intervention—of telling me to slow down and get some much-needed rest. I may have pushed myself a little too hard,” JC said. Expressing his gratitude once more, he thanked everyone who sent prayers, messages, and love during his hospital stay. He admitted that the sudden health scare caught him completely off guard, noting that it was the first time he had experienced such an emergency. “I'm deeply grateful to everyone who prayed, checked in, sent messages, and showed love. It caught me by surprise too. First time,” he shared. JC also reaffirmed his dedication to his craft, assuring supporters that although he had just been discharged from the hospital and was still recovering, he would continue with his scheduled theater commitments. “I've just been discharged from the hospital, and I'm recovering well. And yes, I'll still see you all next week and the coming weekends for our show, Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 4,” he wrote.
