MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said there have been no major security incidents in the regions affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao earlier this week. The tremor hit 32 kilometers southwest of Maasim, Sarangi on Monday morning, with the death toll at 37 individuals so far, according to Office of Civil Defense deputy spokesperson Diego Mariano in a text message to reporters at 10:25 a.m. on June 9.
