MANILA, Philippines — The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) on Tuesday asked all bishops to authorize a second collection during Sunday masses on June 14 for the victims of the deadly earthquake in Mindanao. In a statement, CBCP President Archbishop Gilbert Garcera said they express solidarity with the victims and grieve with the families who lost loved ones.
