Cebu rolls out system to monitor infra projects online

CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Cebu Provincial Government has launched a digital system that allows the public to monitor infrastructure projects and aims to streamline the processing of payments to contractors as part of efforts to improve transparency and efficiency at the Capitol. Governor Pamela Baricuatro formally launched the Cebu Infrastructure Projects Management and Monitoring System (CIPMMS) on Monday, June 8. According to the Provincial Government, the system includes an online portal where residents can view the status of infrastructure projects and submit feedback through an embedded validation mechanism.
