SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur — Agusan del Sur Gov. Santiago Cane Jr. has assured the public that all necessary steps are being taken to support the family of Rene Clert “Bobet” Baterbonia while also initiating a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his tragic death. Baterbonia, 19, a homegrown basketball talent from Talacogon town, represented the Davao Region in the recently concluded Palarong Pambansa 2026, hosted by Agusan del Sur.
