Chips Tasted: Many Taste Good, Price Makes a Difference

On the occasion of the Football World Cup, the Association for Consumer Information (VKI) subjected salted potato chips to a taste test. All tasted good to "okay", but what stood out were primarily the "salted" prices. According to experts, "good" chips are already available as a private label for 5.96 euros per kilogram. A "premium" variant, on the other hand, cost 21.90 euros per kilo but was overall only rated as "average".
