The Dhofar Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, has arrested five individuals who were attempting to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally. The suspects were apprehended while trying to smuggle quantities of narcotic substances into the country aboard a fishing boat with the intent to traffic the drugs. Authorities confirmed that legal procedures are being completed against the accused.
