Mandaue City police seize ₱35M in illegal drugs since January

MANDAUE CITY — More than ₱35 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated by the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) from January 1 to June 7, 2026. The MCPO said it intensified its anti-illegal drug campaign during the period, conducting 822 operations. This led to the arrest of 827 individuals. Records from the MCPO showed that authorities seized a total of 5,200.79 grams of suspected shabu. The stash has an estimated standard drug price (SDP) of ₱35.36 million.
