One dead, two critical after Accra–Tema Motorway crash; GNFS confirms manhunt for driver

One person has died, and two others are in critical condition following a head-on collision involving a fuel tanker and a tipper truck on the Accra–Tema Motorway. The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has also confirmed that a manhunt is underway for the driver of the tipper truck involved in the crash. The incident, which occurred during Tuesday morning’s rush hour, has triggered a massive traffic gridlock on the busy stretch, leaving thousands of commuters stranded for hours.
