In the negotiations for the Renewable Expansion Acceleration Act (EABG), the fronts are hardened. The government consisting of ÖVP, SPÖ, and NEOS wants to vote on the legislative proposal in the National Council next Thursday. However, a two-thirds majority is necessary for the decision, which means the votes of the Greens are also needed. However, they criticize the proposed expansion targets for renewable energies as too low and demand improvements.
