State of the Strait - Ships and tankers in Hormuz

"Iranian state television released latest images on Tuesday of ships and oil tankers anchored in the Strait of Hormuz - the crucial waterway at the centre of the global energy crisis. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) announced that “navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is continuing in accordance with previously established rules and regulations,” according to state TV. The time and location of the footage could not be independently verified. On Tuesday, Donald Trump insisted he could get a deal with Iran in "two or three days". He also said that the US blockade would continue until a 'final deal was reached'. Last week, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Kazem Gharibabadi said the country was "not seeking to collect passage fees, transit duties, or transit rights payments" in the strait, but did have the right to levy service fees for navigation assistance, search and rescue and others. On Sunday and into Monday, Israel and Iran exchanged fresh strikes for the first time since a fragile ceasefire came into effect in April, before both sides agreed to halt attacks on Monday. Trump had tried to warn Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu not to hit Iran again, but those warnings appeared to have gone unheeded. Last week, he also reportedly called Netanyahu 'f***ing crazy' over his threat to bomb Beirut's southern suburbs, which saw Iran warn that they would withdraw from talks."
