BIR extends tax deadlines in earthquake-affected areas

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 62-2026, extending to June 30, 2026 certain tax filing, payment, and document submission deadlines for taxpayers registered. They are for RDO No. 110 (General Santos City and Sarangani) and RDO No. 111 (South Cotabato) which was affected by the recent earthquake in Mindanao. Under the Circular, covered deadlines falling from June 8 to June 29, 2026 are moved to June 30, 2026.
