"Donald Trump was asked about reports an army helicopter had crashed near the Strait of Hormuz, as he spoke with reporters in Queens on Monday night. "The pilots are fine, yeah. Nobody injured. We are going to issue a report tomorrow. But the pilots are fine, yeah," he claimed. He also said there was a 'good chance' that he'd be able to sign a peace agreement in 'two or three days'. "You'll be signing a peace agreement in two or three days?" a reporter clarified. "No, no. We have a good chance of doing it. We should be able to do it in one hour, if you want to know the truth," Trump said. On Sunday and into Monday, Israel and Iran exchanged fresh strikes for the first time since a fragile ceasefire came into effect in April, before both sides agreed to halt attacks on Monday. Trump had tried to warn Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu not to hit Iran again, but those warnings appeared to have gone unheeded. Last week, he also reportedly called Netanyahu 'f***ing crazy' over his threat to bomb Beirut's southern suburbs, which saw Iran warn that they would withdraw from talks. "
