Scooter riders in Kyrgyzstan to face 5,500 soms fine for riding on sidewalks

Moped and scooter riders in Kyrgyzstan will now be treated as full participants in road traffic and required to hold an A1 category driver’s license. The announcement was made by Nurlan Niyazbekov, head of the Road Patrol Service and Road Practice Directorate of the Main Traffic Safety Department.
