El ministro de Hacienda, Jorge Quiroz, descartó este miércoles la posibilidad de vender Codelco para cumplir la meta fiscal del Gobierno. Durante su intervención en la Comisión de Hacienda del Senado, el secretario de Estado respondió a una consulta de la senadora Danisa Astudillo (PS), quien le pidió aclarar sus declaraciones previas sobre una eventual venta de activos fiscales en el norte del país. "Hablamos de vender activos físicos, hablamos del norte. Hablamos de terrenos, de Bienes Nacionales", explicó Quiroz. Luego descartó de forma tajante una posible privatización de la cuprífera estatal. "En ningún caso, nunca, y cóbrenme la palabra, salir a vender Codelco", concluyó.
