Four Palestinians, including a woman, were killed and five others injured on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle west of Gaza City, according to eyewitnesses and Palestinian medical sources, reported Xinhua. Eyewitnesses told Xinhua that an Israeli drone fired at least one missile at a civilian vehicle. Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital said the hospital received four bodies, one of them a woman, along with five injured people following the strike. Earlier on Sunday, at least five Palestinians were killed and 17 others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a Hamas police site in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to medical sources. The Israeli military has not commented on either incident. In their daily update, Gaza-based health authorities reported Sunday that hospitals across the enclave received 10 dead bodies and 36 injuries over the past 24 hours. At least 961 Palestinians have been killed and 3,020 injured in the enclave since a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect in October 2025, bringing the total death toll since Oct. 7, 2023, to 72,971, with 173,012 injuries, they said.
