Washington: US President Donald Trump said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would have “no choice” but to accept any agreement reached by the United States with Iran, asserting that he is ultimately “the one who makes the decisions,” according to an interview published in the Financial Times on Sunday. The remarks came as tensions escalated again in the region. The Israeli military announced on Monday that it carried out airstrikes on “military targets” in western and central Iran, following missile launches from Iran into Israel — marking the first such attack since a ceasefire agreement was reached in April.
