One of Toronto's most beloved summer street festivals is set to return this month, bringing a stretch of College Street to life with tons of food and live entertainment. The Taste of Little Italy is back this weekend, shutting down College Street between Bathurst Street and Shaw Street and turning it into a pedestrian-only celebration of the neighbourhood's culinary scene. For three days, the area will be packed with restaurant patios spilling onto the streets, as food vendors serve everything from classic Italian dishes to international eats — hopefully more of the former since people who attended last year were disappointed by the lack of Italian food . Restaurant highlights include Kiss My Pans , a Singaporean cafe offering a specially curated menu for the festival weekend, and BEAR STEAK Sandwiches firing up a massive five-foot grill on the street to satisfy all your sausage cravings. Guests can also step inside the shop for classic sandwiches with delicious, generous cuts of meat. Beyond the food, Taste of Little Italy will feature live performances across multiple stages, essentially turning College Street into a mini music festival. And if you're worried about missing any 2026 FIFA World Cup action while you're there, there's good news. Taste of Little Italy is covering its bases by hosting watch parties at Cafe Diplomatica, making it a one-stop destination for food lovers and soccer fans alike. The free festival, a city staple for over 20 years now, takes place June 12 to 14. Friday's programming runs from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday runs from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday runs from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you're planning to attend, taking transit is your best bet, as road closures and limited parking are expected throughout the weekend. College Street between Bathurst Street and Shaw Street will be open to pedestrians only from June 12 at 7 a.m. to June 15 at 3 a.m.
