MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang on Monday rejected a proposal by former Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano for an interim leadership arrangement in the Senate, reiterating that the Executive branch recognizes acting Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian as the chamber’s legitimate leader.
