A seasoned surfer, Koa Smith, faced a terrifying shark attack off Oahu's South Shore. The 38-year-old was surfing when a shark grabbed his ankle. He managed to break free and reach the shore. Smith sustained deep injuries to both legs. He is expected to recover fully. Authorities have issued warnings due to increased shark activity in the area.
