Grasim Industries will invest Rs 3,094 crore to expand its Lyocell capacity in Harihar, Karnataka. This expansion will add 110K TPA, with commissioning expected by 2028 and 2030. Upon completion, Grasim's total Lyocell capacity will reach nearly 210K TPA. This move supports growing global demand for sustainable textile materials and strengthens India's position in the global textile value chain.
