CJI Surya Kant intervenes after retired Bombay HC judge receives threats linked to Dawoodi Bohra verdict

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant is addressing threats made against retired Bombay High Court judge Justice Gautam Patel. These threats are linked to a 2024 judgment concerning the Dawoodi Bohra community leadership. Justice Patel's daughter in London received a threatening letter. The Indian High Commissioner to the UK has assured security measures are in place.
