CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Transport workers here chose not to participate in a nationwide strike demanding urgent actions on issues tied to the Middle East crisis that continue to squeeze them with reduced daily incomes. Officials said this could have been due to the paltry turnout during Monday’s citywide strike called by a federation of transport cooperatives here.
