Duterte's defense team dismisses confidential information concerns

MANILA, Philippines — Former President Rodrigo Duterte’s legal counsel has dismissed concerns raised by prosecutors at the International Criminal Court (ICC) over confidential case information. In a legal filing released Thursday, lead defense counsel Nicholas Kaufman provided “guarantees” to the ICC regarding individuals identified in a previous confidential request by the prosecution.
