MANILA, Philippines — House lawmakers on Friday slammed the Supreme Court’s (SC) petition questioning the actions of the lower chamber’s panel during the proceedings for the impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte. On Friday, pro-Duterte lawyer Israelito Torreon accused the House Committee on Justice of “procedural overreach” in their conduct of the proceedings.
