Cebu transport group calls for improved fuel subsidy

CEBU CITY, Philippines — A Cebu-based transport group on Friday said drivers and operators have yet to receive any fuel subsidy from the government while rising oil prices continue to squeeze their earnings. The group warned that sustained fuel price increases linked to tensions in the Middle East are eroding drivers’ income and raising concerns about the sustainability of their livelihoods. “Diri sa Cebu, naa pa sa level sa balita, level sa dokumento ug papel.
