MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has encouraged all Filipinos to join Earth Hour this year, emphasizing the need for energy preservation and limiting fuel consumption amid the crisis due to tensions in the Middle East.  This year’s World Wide Fund for Nature’s Earth Hour is scheduled from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time.
