Pat Aquino exits as Gilas Pilipinas Women coach

MANILA, Philippines–Patrick Aquino is out as head coach of Gilas Pilipinas women’s team, with the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas announcing it will begin a search for his replacement. Aquino, who led the program for more than a decade starting in 2014, will transition into a new role in talent identification and grassroots development alongside program director Norman Black, the SBP also said.
