MANILA, Philippines — Filipino consumers can expect prices of basic goods to remain unchanged until April 16, as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) secured commitments from manufacturers and retailers to hold off on increases despite cost pressures linked to the ongoing Middle East conflict.
