€600,000 granted to save Kelly’s Hotel in Rosslare from threat of coastal erosion – ‘I know the level of vulnerability here’

Just days after the owner of Kelly’s Hotel warned that his business would not survive another winter it has been confirmed that €600,000 in funding has been allocated to address coastal erosion in Rosslare Strand. The funding, which has been granted by the Office of Public Works (OPW), will be used to carry out emergency works at the section of coastline which is now just metres away from Kelly’s Hotel.
