LAHORE: The Punjab government has taken strict action against four doctors for violating the sanctity of the medical profession at Lady Willingdon Hospital, following reports of an alleged video recorded during a surgical procedure. The incident, which occurred during a C-section operation, drew serious concern after the video surfaced on social media. On the directives of the competent authority, four lady doctors have been suspended, while a show-cause notice has been issued to the Head of Department of Gynaecology Unit-I. According to the notice, recording videos during medical procedures is a clear breach of medical ethics and undermines the dignity and privacy of patients.
