Some areas in Metro Manila, Cavite, Bulacan to have power interruptions due to maintenance works

MANILA, Philippines—Several areas in Metro Manila, Cavite and Bulacan provinces will have power interruptions from March 30 to April 1 due to maintenance and upgrading works, Meralco said Sunday. On March 30, portions of Alapan–Bucandala Road and Alapan II-B Road in Barangay Alapan II-B, Imus City, Cavite will have no electricity from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. because of the relocation of facilities for a government road project. Also on March 30, parts of Fidela Soriano Street and areas in Barangay Hulong Duhat, Malabon City will experience power interruption from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to replacement of facilities. In Bulacan, portions of several barangay in Paombong and Hagonoy, including Binakod, Masukol, San Jose, San Roque, Sta. Cruz, Pugad, and Tibaguin, will be without power from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. because of pole replacement works. In Makati City, parts of San Miguel Village in Barangay Poblacion, particularly along F. Zobel and nearby streets, will have no power from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. due to the installation of facilities. On March 31, portions of Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Avenue and nearby streets in Barangay Manggahan, Santolan, and Dela Paz in Pasig City will have outages between 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. and again from 4:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. due to line reconductoring and facility replacement. Also in Pasig, parts of Ortigas Avenue and nearby areas in Barangay Ugong will be without power from 11 p.m. on March 31 to 12 a.m. on April 1 due to line reconstruction works. In Muntinlupa City, portions of Montillano Street, M. L. Quezon Avenue, and surrounding residential areas in Barangay Alabang and Cupang will have power interruption from 11 p.m. on March 31 to 4 a.m. on April 1 due to line reconductoring and relocation of facilities along the Philippine National Railways (PNR) tracks. In Manila, particularly in Tondo, parts of Tuazon and Morga streets and nearby areas will be without electricity from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on March 31 due to line reconstruction works. Also on March 31, portions of Upli–Palulum Road and nearby areas in Alfonso, Cavite will have power interruption from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the installation of primary line facilities.
