MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) on Sunday reported the transfer of 500 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) from New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City to the newly constructed dormitory at Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF) in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. BuCor Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr. said the 500 PDLs arrived at the IPPF on Sunday morning and will be housed in the facility which has a capacity of up to 1,000 PDLs.
