Loan relief for PUV, TNVS operators pushed

MANILA, Philippines — Senior Citizens party-list Rep. Rodolfo “Ompong” Ordanes on Sunday called on President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to direct the government to extend payment reliefs on loans incurred by public utility vehicle (PUV) and transportation network vehicle service (TNVS) operators from April to June. Ordanes made the appeal as transport operators grappled with what he called “severe financial strain,” due to rising oil prices.
