VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — Catholics here gathered on Palm Sunday for a Holy Mass to commemorate Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, signaling the start of Holy Week. Rev. Fr. Jojo Sumastre of St. Bernadette Parish in Barangay Batangan, Valencia City, celebrated Mass at a chapel inside a private subdivision, which included a reenactment of the biblical event, the Passion narrative, and the blessing of palms with holy water.
