Mindoro lawyers bring legal aid, healing programs to women, kids

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Members of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Oriental Mindoro Chapter conducted a series of legal aid and community outreach activities in observance of National Women’s Month, reaching vulnerable sectors across the province. On Saturday afternoon, March 29, at Bahay Kanlungan, a shelter for abused women and children, volunteer lawyers and partner organizations held a Legal Aid Caravan that combined legal assistance with psychosocial and wellness activities aimed at healing and empowerment.
