Austria and Bavaria Strengthen Police Cooperation

Interior Minister Gerhard Karner met with Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann on Sunday at the Austrian Wind Music Forum in Carinthia. They discussed the enhanced cooperation between the Austrian and Bavarian police, particularly in border protection, the implementation of the European asylum pact, and the fight against smuggling crime.
