Maguindanao del Sur village head, driver hurt in another ambush

COTABATO CITY – Another ambush struck Maguindanao del Sur on Monday morning, with the target narrowly escaping death. Capt. Steffi Salanguit, spokesperson for the Police Regional Office–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), said Hadji Mansor Mangelen, village chairperson of Barangay Damalusay, Paglat, Maguindanao del Sur, was slightly injured in the 8:30 a.m. ambush in Barangay Malangit, Pandag town. Mangalen’s driver, Arafa Abpet, also from the same village, however, was seriously injured.
