Fuel watch: Diesel rises P12.50–P12.90 per liter

MANILA, Philippines — Motorists should brace for a sharp, double-digit increase in diesel prices this week, while gasoline will see only modest hikes. In separate advisories on Monday, Seaoil, Jetti Petroluem, Petro Gazz and Unioil said they would implement price increases for diesel, reaching P12.50 to P12.90 a liter. On the other hand, kerosene is set to rise by P2 per liter. Gasoline prices, meanwhile, will go up by just P1 to P2.50 a liter.
