Driver in ‘gas and run’ case now in police custody

MANILA, Philippines — The driver who fled from a gas station without paying for fuel worth P5,000 is now in police custody. Quezon City Police District (QCPD) spokesperson Maj. Jennifer Gannaban on Monday night confirmed to the Inquirer in a text message that the suspect, whom she did not immediately identify, was taken into the custody of the La Loma Police Station.
