South Korea's industrial output rebounded last month, driven by gains in manufacturing and services, government data showed Tuesday. Industrial production rose 2.5 percent from a month earlier in February, following a 1.3 percent on-month decline in January, according to the data from the Ministry of Data and Statistics. Retail sales, a key indicator of private spending, remained unchanged from the previous month. Sales declined in semidurable goods, such as clothing, but increased in food and beverage products. Facility investment jumped 13.5 percent on-month, led by increased investment in machinery and transportation equipment.
