LEGAZPI CITY — Three alleged members of a communist group in Masbate voluntarily surrendered to the authorities in the province on Sunday in the town of Baleno, police reported on Monday. Police Brigadier General Erosito Miranda, chief of the Bicol police, said the surrender resulted from coordinated efforts among units under the Masbate Police Provincial Office. “The surrenderees were identified as members of the Kilusang Larangan Guerilla North Sub-Regional Committee 4, which allegedly operates in the province’s second district,” Miranda said.
