LEGAZPI CITY — Prices of basic food items in the Bicol region have remained stable despite the ongoing petroleum products crisis. Lovella Guarin, Department of Agriculture regional information officer, told the Inquirer in a private message that retail prices across major public markets have so far shown no unusual spikes. “We have not yet observed any significant increase or movement in the prices of goods,” Guarin said, citing the agency’s Daily Price Index as of March 27.
