Kidapawan villagers line up for P20 per kilo rice

KIDAPAWAN CITY — Villagers flocked to the National Food Authority (NFA)–Cotabato warehouse early Monday morning to avail themselves of rice priced at P20 per kilogram. To accommodate demand, NFA-Cotabato increased the purchase limit per individual from 10 kilos to 30 kilos, giving better access to residents coming from far-flung barangays. Despite the adjustments, some villagers camped outside the NFA warehouse in Kidapawan City to secure priority numbers for scheduled purchasing days.
