MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — The Mandaue City Council has passed a resolution calling for the monitoring of tricycle and habal-habal fares amid rising petroleum prices. The measure aims to ensure that fare rates remain fair and consistent for commuters. City Councilor Carlo Fortuna stated that there is currently no formal petition seeking a fare increase for tricycles, emphasizing that any adjustment must follow proper procedures.
